Dolphin Drive Intersection Closed for 3 Days

ST. AUGUSTINE – The Bridge of Lions Rehabilitation Project team plans to close the end of Dolphin Drive at the intersection with Anastasia Boulevard for approximately three days, from Tuesday, April 15, 2008 through Thursday, April 17, 2008. The intersection of Dolphin Drive and Anastasia Boulevard is located in the South Davis Shores neighborhood at the east end of the temporary Bridge of Lions. Changes in the weather or delivery of construction materials may delay the beginning or the duration of this activity.

This closure is necessary to accommodate reconstruction of the drainage system in the area. Motorists are advised to use caution while traveling through alternate neighborhood streets while Dolphin Drive is closed.

The Bridge of Lions Rehabilitation project, funded by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), began in February 2005 and is expected to last approximately five years, excluding potential weather delays.
